I’m Otto, a New York-raised visual designer and artist, now based in Washington D.C. I combine my passions to build brands, shape strategy, and integrate physical media into a digital world.
My love for everything design stems from a childhood growing up in Manhattan, spending my time going on “color walks” throughout the city. When not exploring my surroundings, I found myself in the MoMA, Cooper Hewitt, or Guggenheim wandering their respective exhibits. Currently studying Communication Design at Elon University with minors in Psychology and Art, I apply my unique understanding of the design world. Communication Design shows me how to build content and make it land in today's market. Art keeps me tethered to the humanity of design, a rebuttal to a creative field increasingly flooded with AI, and Psychology asks the question underneath it all: why do we love good design?
I combine my passions to build brands, shape strategy, and design systems, while emphasizing the importance of experimentation with physical media in a digital age.
When I’m not busy pushing pixels or scratching paper, you can find me uploading guitar covers to YouTube (most likely a Mac Miller song), hiking out in the wilderness, stopping pucks as a goalie, or diving into yet another Kurt Vonnegut novel.
